Yeah, we all know about Top Ramen/Oodles n Noodles. It got us through the lean times in college. Why heck, we all still gotta budget from time to time right? :)

.....Ladies and gentleman, my own spin:

Ramen noodles with shrimp and fresh spinach.  Seasoned with Berbere (an Ethiopian spice mixture) and a little bit of the noodles' included season packet.

Classic but Good: Chicken Shawarma from Waterfalls Cafe, 144 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn

Went to Brooklyn Heights last week and decided to take a walk to explore the borough. I was referred to Waterfalls Cafe, a Mediterranean restaurant on Atlantic Avenue by one of their faithful customers. Well, they were right. This was some damn good food: Chicken Shawarma (r), Greek salad, hummus and rice.

Simple and classic signature dishes done correctly never lose their greatness or appeal. Pocket damage: $11.

Caesar's Atlantic City: La Piazza

Still stuck on AC dining. Some of the best food not only comes from 5 star restaurants but from buffets. The all-you-can-eat buffet at La Piazza sends you to culinary bliss. In addition to the goodies in the picture, La Piazza offers a huge array of offerings including crab legs, steak, and desserts to name a few. Pocket hit $28--not too bad.
